Let us find out about one of the powerhouses behind the conference: Amélie Clement.
Amélie studied History and History of Arts in Paris and Budapest.
She worked for several years in Arts management in France and Belgium, focused mostly in the field of Performing Arts on behalf of European cultural networks.
She now collaborates part-time with the Federation of Screenwriters in Europe.
On the artistic side, she freelances in illustration, comics and graphic design. Recently she and Rommel Joson, a Filipino comics author, were awarded a grant by the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), to create a comic together on the theme of mythologies and children’s school games. Last month they completed a ten-day residency at the Maison des Auteurs in Angoulême, and recorded their progress on their blog.
